I am currently in AP Studio Art (Don't laugh, I know AP art sounds silly, but its actually really demanding!) and I just submitted my portfolio I have been working on this entire year. It turned out to be a super demanding course that made me realize I do NOT want to go in to photography anymore, but it definitely taught me discipline. It's such a good feeling to turn something in I've been working on for so long! Phew!

Now back to doing the photography I enjoy doing and have missed so much, portraiture!   I have so many ideas I've been wanting to try out and just haven't had time!

I found out that the biggest problems with AP class is the take the fun out of what you are doing. I had a phtography minor for years and the "avanced" classes was always felt like the were trying to ruin what i love. Photography is something you learn the basics for then explore on your own and develop your own styles

100% Agree. Especially in this case. But I don't think it was really the class that 'ruined' photography for me, rather it made me realize how much I really hate working on deadlines and having people tell me what to do when it comes to my photography.
