I didnt meet my significant other here (or at least not yet ) but livewire has definitely had a lasting impact on my life and helped me form friendships that even if they fade in the future, had drastically impacted me.

I have to say, it affected me in a bad way, but only to a certain point. I met my (ex) best friend on here and she turned out to be a complete psycho. Albeit, LW DOES have an Internet safety policy for a reason, which is why it's really not on LW's shoulders. She screwed me over badly for the best part of 5 years and messed my life up really badly. That all started here.

That said, i TALK to some lovely people on here and my life is a better place for having those. So i try and focus on that. I find the fact you met your partners on here amazingly cute.

Ps. I also cope with issues by helping other people, so yeah, when i had a rough time, this place was a massive part of my daily life. I like helping.

I have met many great people here and become very good friends with some, and strengthened pre-existing friendships. That's something I would never give back and never forget. Who know what will happen to me with the remainder of time I have here?!

I've helped people get through tough times, encouraged others, and even made people hungry with my delicious posts of food I cook. It's fun and actually meaningful to me, even as insignificant as one little website may seem.

aside from that though, i'd say lw has affected my life in that i've gotten advice here, years ago probably, that did significantly help at a really difficult time in my life. and a friendship that i hope lasts a loooong time. so yeah it's affected my life and i'll remember it.

LW had been my peek into the world for a few years (ha ha), had been the place to say whatever and see how people receive it, and also to offer support that i otherwise would not (i don't in real life much).

And i've met 5 people from here. 2 whom I'd met from the internet and not strictly met here, and 3 from here. 1 of them has been a huge part of my life.

But i also wanna agree with this:
