Yes, instead of hurting, and hating each other and fucking each other over, we should all prance around in a field of flowers and then sit together in the sunshine, watching the unicorns and leprechauns frolic whilst eating enchanted cupcakes made up of rainbows, smiles, sparkles and magic and then sit around and tell each other how awesome we all are and pretend to adore even the people we completely loathe, and pretend that the world is actually a nice place and life is actually NOT a bleeding bitch and people are actually perfect.
The truth is that human beings don't work that way and never will...humans are imperfect beings. We're actually all assholes...it's just that some of us are more upfront about it.
The sooner you realize that the world is not a nice place and that people WILL fuck you over if you let them, the sooner you can prepare for that inevitability and begin to build up your defenses and immunity so you can better protect yourself.
