Pork is unhealthy.
Curious where you get your information...

Lots of places. I don't just use one.
The biggest issue I've seen is worms in pork (I've pulled one out myself)
But pigs eat anything and everything and its more likely for them to have toxins than other animals because they can't sweat them out.
Plus pork is fatty. The bad fat. Not good for the heart.
I know meat is bad in general but pork is a bad one. and yes I'm aware beef and things like that are unhealthy too. I think if someone wants to slim down and be healthy the'd stick to fish and poultry.

OMG where are you buying your pork?

also pork can be low fat, and in general some fat in your diet is good.

I'm going to seriously question your butcher and standards for buying meat.

I think that pork was from one of those Kroger offshoots like King Soopers. Its happened more than once.   Once with some sandwich ham and another with pork tenderloin.
I know fat can be good in a diet. Everyone needs some fat. Pork isn't horrible. Beef is worse but I wouldn't say it was good unless you were eating tenderloin or something similar.

i think you need to reconsider where you buy your meat, and oyu need to look at what actual clinical studies are showing about lean red meats.

I know what good meat looks like. And I always pick the one with the latest expiration date. The pork came from a chain store so my guess is that plenty of people had the worms. My mom told me that its not something out of the ordinary with pork. Maybe people don't care because they figure it will be okay after cooking?

Well its good that its improving. But with seafood and poultry being an option I'd prefer sticking to that.
Odd that an animal product could actually lower cholesterol :0

also there really aren't many other places to buy meat near me. Theres King soopers and walmart. :/

You do know that you need to eat 1200 calories/day minimum so your body doesn't go into 'starvation mode' and actually works in adverse of your weight loss actions...

Starvation mode is generally something that happens after a while of restricted eating. From the research of done on it, there's mot any biological evidence supporting the starvation mode. It's mainly linked to behavioral issues. Like having periods of overeating, which hinders the weight loss. And because some people  can't function on that low of a calorie intake, which makes them unable to exercise.

Also, it has something to do with  lack of vitamins, which I take vitamin supplements.

I could be wrong, I did this research like a year ago for a class.

IT's not going to hurt for a week or two. lol. It'll keep my weight down and lose a few pounds until I can actually get to the gym more. XD
