Has anyone on here been through an extremely abuse relationship. Verbally and emotionally that is? I really need advice on how to cope... I'm not doing well...

My dad verbally abuses me, I am not that flustered by it really but i cope by looking past it and moving on. He moved out of the house but sometimes stops by, so it's kind of frightening just to be in my own house. Still I just look past it

I have. Both with my mother and an ex-boyfriend (I'm not sure which type of relationship you're thinking of... but I've had both.)

i went thru it for a lot of years. i never really coped withh it either. i guess you just try to find better people in your life that care for you and dont treat you like that. sorry i couldnt be more help
