Pi is soo much better because I use it more, well at least last year in math I used it more than e, and I'm more familiar with it. Pi is also a bigger number than e. Pi has a cooler symbol than e....who likes just an e? I also say that too because Pi does have its own day.

I like e because it is more useful, as far as relating it to real-world scenarios.

My vote has to go to Pi. I mean, I never learned about e, I'm in low level math and only going into 11th grade. Besides, Pi sounds like Pie, and pie is magnificent!

Agreed. Another reason surrounding my preference for e is that I like logarithms so much more than circles. Really. Logs are the best.

I once had this teacher who could recite pi to a couple hundred digits. My goal is to be able to recite e to at least 100 by the end of the summer.

Granted, pi has a cooler symbol, but e is higher-level, to me, and I'm much more likely to be attracted to the e-geek than the pi-dork.

Between Pi and e, I think you almost have to choose Pi (because it is prettier), but personally I like Phi best of all, both because of it's uselessness and it's greek-ness.

Pi is the only one with a webpage that has the number to a million places.  Plus, the symbol is prettier.

I have to vote for pi, if only to honor the pi poster going around my math classroom that has the digits of pi on it, which I idly sit and look at when I really don't want to pay attention. Also I wrote an informative essay about pi for my creative writing class, and it was a complete success. AND (drumroll please)... PI DAY!!!! A day for complete silliness, and dare I say it?, Math fun.

I haven't had math in a couple years, and although I know I've used both pi and e, I'd have to choose pi simply because that's the only one I know how to use at the moment.  What do you use e for anyways?  I seem to have forgotten.....Math was never my best subject.
