Because Pi is just a number which you need if you want to find answers to specific problems (e.g Find the area of a circle with radius 2). It is thus enough to know it exists for every proof.

e on the other hand is better thought of as a function, and can be used to prove much more general theories.

haha me too. Once, in like... idk, 6th grade, me and a friend sat there and wrote this huge long page of pi before we got distrcted. It just goes on FOREVER.

also, i chose pi because i have never heard of e.

e comes in handy in all sorts of more complex mathematical situations

it has so much potential, like there is already a pi day, but there could be a e day as well!
