Im trying to draw a cartoon face and am very happy with the side on view I have done but im struggling with other perspectives.

Any advice? I have a degree in graphic design but my skills are very rusty (only a year off...).

I guess if you are weak in an aspect of design, the way to learn is using references, (maybe in your case cartoon anatomy and views or google to find a reputable source) and also any free tutorials you may find online such as deviantart etc.  if you're working with differnt angles and perspectives, many people use the the method where ey start with an oval shaped head, draw the centrelines both horizontal then vertical, and add features from there, I never used to use this formula but it is very very effective and helps a lot, you'll find a lot of artists use this method with success :) goodluck

Well if you are drawing in Photoshop you should Zoom in and draw that will help you to move the brush or the pencil smoothly. If you have a sketch of the perspective cartoon scan it and open that in Photoshop and reduce the opacity and trace[use that image as the bakground] it that will help you to draw the perspective.

I think this will be helpful Good Luck!
