Also: you need to find a hobby and forget about "hypocrisy;" either that or answer when someone calls you out on it.

It was used differently in The Chosen (which, by the way, is an awesome book). The narrator used it very specifically to describe a Jew who was such by heritage only, but did not follow the commandments.
