When he says "6 million Jews lol", I don't read that as "Six million Jews are dead and from this I derive amusement." I read that as "Holy shit, you actually think that many died? I'm laughing at the notion."

What abs really dislikes is Israel and zionism. Lots of people think Israel = Judaism and zionism = Judaism. Saying that to abs will, from what I've seen, trigger a rant about Khazaria, and about how zionism didn't even have its roots in "real" Jews, but rather in those Eastern European converts who got some huge hangup about "taking back the promised land that was taken from them" despite not having any ancestors who ever lived there.

I don't think it is right to laugh at the notion even if he disputes the number. It is a serious thing. The problem is that by doing that he supports the views of nazis who say the whole thing is a hoax, a big joke, those guys who think that Jews cooked up numbers or made things up for some evil reason of some sort.

The truth is that whenever there is a genocide there is always a lot of confusion, so it is possible that the numbers were not 100% right. But there is a huge leap between saying that and saying well it was a only a few thousands or that it was all a vast conspiracy to cook up numbers, or the whole thing was a big joke.

When I hear things like that MY blood boils because I have family that died there. So its like saying "yeah no one in your family died or suffered. Your ancestors made it all up. You are just trash because you believe that." It is a HUGE insult to me. Not just some intellectual discussion for people with nothing better to do. I know he probably does not care. But I just want to point it out.

Let me simply cut this whole exchange and point out that

1. Jews are no more hated than any other group. Some of them have often set themselves apart from other groups and this may have contributed to a host of problems. I am not saying this to deny that they have never suffered. However it is a testimony to the sad state of this world that they are actually not the only ones who ever suffered in the history of the Universe.  

2. Catholics have suffered as well under Communism, and Protestants have suffered at the hands of Catholics, and the list sadly, goes on. Any other ethnic group, white or not has also endured their share of atrocities, castigation, persecutions and the like.  

3. The more people believe they are persecuted, the more they will indeed be persecuted. Paranoia begets persecution and the persecution complex is an actual mental disease which should be treated by a professional.  

I can see a few example of people on this very forum who would benefit from many visits with a good shrink....

Oh and I forgot to mention

Skater do take your pills. The men in white suits are tired of having to strap you down every time.
