I looked this stuff up, but I do not understand what an EFC is. And I don't know anything about the pell grant until I get the financial aid info from my college right? ?? ??

That last reply was right (although the others are more humorous!). However, I think it's a very unrealistic number, and most families can't pay what the EFC says they can pay. It's just another ripoff that disallows federal financial aid.
