 I think "je vais bien" is a better choice for French, since typically the question is: "ça va?" or "comment ça va?" Or even, "tu vas bien?"  

 Also, it's amazing how close your original post is to Polish :P I'm pretty sure the word in Polish for good is "dobry", and thank you is "dziękuję."

it would actually be "ca va bien" which is "it goes good"  "i go good" doesn't really make any sense.  

and yeah, slovakian and polish are reallyyyyyy similar.

It doesn't make sense in English, which is true. Answering with "je vais bien" or "ça va bien" sounds just fine to me.
