Achievement is the downfall of many a "great" human being. It creates the expectancy in others that this same achievement will occur again. A downfall or lesser achievement creates disappointment or that patronisingly sympathetic phrase, "oh how the mighty have fallen". Similarly even a second great achievement; alongside the first no longer seems great, simply expected, the norm. However for those who choose not to achieve, or for whom the capacity for greatness does not exist, they hold the true power. Only those who fail to be great can truly appreciate that moment of achievement, when, if ever, it comes. That moment for them, is pure, it comes with no expectations of repetition, simply pure unadulterated pride, for one single moment.
