Lol, we joke about these kinds of things all the itme, so it never bothers me.  But I dunno, for any of you that are overweight or think that you are overweight, would you actually take offense if you knew it was just a joke?

I think it would bother me a little bit because I am on the chubby side, but if it doesnt bother you than who cares what they say. As long as he doesnt do it all the time.

It is rare that anyone that is overweight likes to joke about size jokes. However if you and him are comfortable with it I would suggest that you limit it to times when just the two of you are together. As strange as it might seem most people would be uncomfortable around this type of humor when it is aimed as someone that is a good friend or a relative.

Yeah, we started doing that.  My mom and sister didn't think they were good jokes... He jokes about my weight (5'3" and 180 pounds, though most people wouldn't guess I weight that much) and I joke about his (5' 3.5" 100 pounds), or how he looks MUCH younger than he actually is.  Lol, but likewise, we also have our serious moments where we just remind each other that we wouldn't change the other for the world, you know?  But he's helping me try and lose weight to help me health wise (to relieve some strain on my back), so it's all good :).
