I personally have never had the desire to be in a Sority or Frat... plus I don't even think that my college has Greek life.... I'm no help. sorry

I find that most people that join are the annoying people that I can't stand being around.

It's really a personal choice but I've heard great things about a number of sororities so you shouldn't be scared about rushing - chances are you can find a sorority or frat that's a good fit for you.

Mind you, when you rush you usually have to pay fees to be in that frat thing, and if you think about these fees are lot like a cover to a club because if you pay the fees and get into a frat than you like don't have to pay to go to these parties.

Now if your college is in a rural town where there are very little things to do in the city than probalby you should rush cause thats like the place you socialize. In my case because where i am from, toronto, i have options which are normally better than found in the greek system.
