Part of the Antarctic ice shelf fell into the ocean last week. 5,000 species a day are dying. It's not just the burning of fossil fuels and CO2 emissions that are causing it, (although it is a big part of it), it is also the rapid rate of deforestation. Rain forests are being destroyed an unprecedented rates, and our planet's atmosphere isn't being cleansed as much as it used to because of that, allowing more CO2 to linger int he atmosphere. The size of the arctic in the winter has decreased nearly 40% in the past 28 years. Large glaciers all over the world are disappearing rapidly, and within 20 years most will be gone. The science on this is sound, and it's factual. And some morons think like you. "Hey, it MIGHT not be a real threat. I don't care about the environment anyways so I'm not going to change what I do at all. So lets do nothing and see what happens!" Thats a great way to think.

So you agree there hasn't been any warming yet? Interesting. We are actually at a solar minimum right now, which actually regulates temperature. That's why it has been colder this year..and we have an extended minimum. The world is constantly changing. That's what people don't seem to understand. I don't understand how people can be so anthropocentric to actually believe humans effect the world's temperature. We are nothing but a gnat in this vast universe, and couldn't do anything to effect it if we tried.
