feeling weird, like how? this has never happened to me. i'm only high for like, a few hours tops, then i'm completely normal. maybe tired, but after i sleep and get up again, i'm fine and it's like it never happened. i've heard of people getting fucked up for a few days afterwards, though - like, not thinking straight and shit.

This is perfectly normal, and will go away on its own. The chemicals in pot that get you high are called cannabinoids (namely delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol, or THC for short). When you smoke, they are absorbed through the lining of your lungs like oxygen, and travel into your brain via your bloodstream where they bind to cannabinoid receptors. This is what gets you high. By the time you come down, most of the cannabinoids left your brain. However, some remains. The more you smoke, the more residual cannabinoids remain inside your brain. While there aren't enough to make you high, you could feel off, weird, or slightly out of it, ect. The good news is that this is perfectly normal and entirely temporary. A heavy smoker may experience impaired cognitive functions for up to about a month after quitting smoking. Someone who smokes less will, obviously, have a dramatically reduced "recovery" time. It may be annoying now, but if you give it some time it will go away on its own.

this happened to me when i first started smoking. i would have waves of it, for no apparent reason, even days after smoking. eventually it went away. it shouldn't be anything to worry about.
