Aaah my iPod is confusing me!
I connected it as usual, tried to sync it, and said there wasn't enough space available -- that I needed around 13 GBs left and I only had 9. This confused me, because I hadn't added anything large since my last sync, which was yesterday and worked perfectly.

I figured it could possibly be a glitch, so I just ejected it and tried plugging it in again. Now my iTunes freezes every time I plug it in until I eject my iPod, when it starts working perfectly again.

WHAT DO I DO??? I'm going crazy here, my iPod is my baby and I neeeed it to work, lol. PLEASE help me!!!

Edit: I FINALLY got my iPod to begin syncing earlier, but my iTunes froze in the middle so I ejected it, and the iPod froze on "Do not disconnect." I rebooted my iPod ad now it's frozen on the apple logo.

Edit again: The iPod's battery has died, so I plugged it in to the computer. I got the usual "Ipod Battery is very low" etc... and then the apple came on as if it was about to turn on & sync. However, it keeps going back to the "Please wait, very low battery," then back to the apple logo, etc. =/

Have you tried restarting the computer and then plugging it in opening iTunes and then resetting the iPod?

I can't reset the iPod once it's plugged in because iTunes automatically freezes.

I'll restart the computer, see what happens.

Then there's the option where you re-install the whole iTunes. Anywho if you got other computers at home with iTunes try to plugg it in there and sync with the music library there might for aswell..

(good thing with iPods they got a year guaranteen so you could turn it back to the store and get a new one)

If you re-install Itunes, you will not lose all of your music. I've done it many times.

Your music should be stored on your computer. Before uninstalling itunes go to Advances > Consolidate Library
Let it do it's thing, then you should be able to take all of your music and put it somewhere outside of the itunes folder(I'm not sure on a PC, it's probably under Programs or whatever, and then iTunes, and the Library, but it might be under Music if that's one of the folders that comes with windows; on a Mac it's Just Music>iTunes>iTunes Music) Then you can safely reinstall iTunes
