I've got an integrated network adapter that supports speeds up to 1000Mbps, but when I look at status It shows it only at 100Mbps...
I am also hooked into a router so does this have any effect on it?

NVM I figured it out, and learned it wouldn't even make a difference really ha.

Just in case anyone is wondering, i would expect that your router is running at 100Mbps and ethernet runs at the max speed it can and auto-selects.
And the only real need for gigabit ethernet is if you are moving around large numbers of big files from some form of SAN device that can support those speeds.
