ermm.. as much RAM as possible 2gb is a good starting point doe. make sure u get the right type of ram thingie for the slots and it depends how much u wanna spend really... like if your a gamer get a good graphics card.. i'm not that good at graphics card.. normally the more expensive the better.. i normally got for Nvidia graphics cards but thats just me ooo also get a good looking case for it Post edited at 9:10 am on May 12, 2008 by Byble

Q6600 is a good processor for bang per buck. also a 680i chipset motherboard go for a decent price now 2-4 Gb of ddr2 ram 800mhz/1066 depending on what your motherboard takes Midrange gpu: Ati 3850 or 8600gt Better gpus: 9600gt, 8800gt, 8800gts best: 9800 or 9800gx2 or ati 3870x2 450-600 watt psu depending on vcard selected any 7200 rpm hdd should do depending on how much you plan to store.
