Classical and rock. Currently I'm going through a foreign-music phase, and it's all because I really want to learn another language but can't. Right now it's Kyo.
I listen to lots of classical though.

To group music into three groups consisting of rock, rap and other is hardly intellectual. In fact, it's downright ignorant. As such, I'm going to go for OTHER, as my tastes don't really fall into either other categories by any discerning factor. Particularly rap.

I mainly listen to rock, since I was raised on rock, mainly classic rock and 90's alternative. I like some metal, some emo, some other forms of rock. But I also like classical and musicals at times.

There you go. Hip Hop and Rap don't have smart connotations but aside from the Pop Rap that dominates today, there are some very smart artists. A lot of creativity goes into the lyrics and people need to be up on things constantly to comprehend. Lupe Fiasco, man.

I have pretty wide musical tastes. Rock, Punk, Pop (sometimes), Alternative (also sometimes). My current favorites have to be Faker, The White Stripes and The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus. So I guess that would make me fit in with the Rock(ers).

Well I was listening to Tenpole Tudor and Insect Warfare but now I'm listening to the Foreign Beggars so if you want to figure some grand conclusion about intellectual music choices that is a pretty concise representation of my normal listening habits.
