Fuck no.
We can't see how they do as a support leader, how they respond to formal and informal warnings. We just can't see how they would do. That is why the moderation team helps choose who is promoted.

That and the fact that we have to be able to work well with whoever is up for mod. If the majority of the team doesn't agree with a member on that, then most likely they will not become a mod. We need people to be able to work decently with each other and not have to worry about too much fighting and bickering between us. David tries to make the team like that but at the same time, he tries to pick people who also has different ideas and views.

there are people with wildly diffferent views on the moderator staff. people that are polar opposites on everythign down to the purpose of the site and how it should be run..and they are in violenty disagreement.

spirit which is of great worth in God's sight

oh no people don't like my internet persona, what shall i do?

I'm not sure.  Maybe try to fake your true self again in an attempt to get promoted to mod?

I don't mean to point this out, and I'm sure this isn't what you meant. But if they have different beliefs on what this site is all about, which is support overall, then they shouldn't even be considered as a mod. I personally have always always looked for good and healthy support, as I am sure that's how David looks at things as well and expects all the mods to have this on their minds when moderating LW.

Unless you are envisioning beautiful drama like people seeing mod notes about them saying that we think they would make a shit moderator and going "OMG, that bastard!, I'm leaving forever" yadda, yadda, yadda and suchlike, then you are probably not wholeheartedly agreeing with me.

Trust me, I see all that, too, and it would be some pretty good lulz.  Especially if they try making a big topic about it and get thoroughly pwned and told to GTFO.

Or maybe you could try your stupid, arrogant redneck self again to... oh wait you're already doing that.

Seems to come naturally to you doesn't it?

When I'm talking to someone such as you, ISH, arrogance does come natural.  It's impossible for me to look at you any other way than down.

It appears as if your multiple personalities is getting the best of you, ISH.  You are often involved in Internet fights, remember?  Or is that the faker side of you involved in those?
