Malware I'm guessing.

I logged onto my sony vaio laptop today, only to find that my icons and my taskbar won't appear. My sidebar appears. I'm guessing it's Malware, but I could be wrong.

I'm currently on safe mode with networking to post this.

It says a file is missing. the file name is edna.dll32. or something like that.

does this sound like malware to you

malware would not make your taskbar or Icons disappear...Specific error message would be nice... But yea /agree with Reconciliation.
