I don't know what to say to that. My family wasn't even around Germany at the time... just trying to make a living as river boat captains and workers, and even farmers. Nothing like that.
Plus, I don't find swastikas too pleasing to the eye to begin with. Too much bad history and not really into spirals. I like polka dots more. ;)
