The WTF is exactly why I liked it...it totally went around the bend. It was so ridiculous and stupid that it became awesome in my eyes, and gives me hope that if I ever want to be a rich authoress, I don't really have to try that hard.

Well yeah, when she does dangerous things she can kill herself. But she even admits that she's never trying to. Not to mention she wasn't just "jumping off a cliff." She was cliff diving, which is an actual sport. So yeah, she's doing dumb things; but not deliberately trying to kill herself.

If you don't care if you die? That's pretty much crossing the line between "not trying to kill yourself" and "trying to kill yourself."

Regardless, the relationship is unhealthy and creepy.

Twilight is something my little sister could write in three weeks in her freshman English course. I'm pretty sure relegating it to fanfiction isn't sever enough becasue those stories probably have rising and falling action and some actually plot twist. The book might as well be transparent. I am ashamed that this women actually has a degree in English.

Ann Rice Vampire Chronicals are trashy  
Dean Koontz generic fill in the character names and setting plots are trashy
And yes even Harry Potter books despite my hate for them are trashy

I wonder if she isn't just a complete and total genius...if she knew that these books were the worst things ever written and just banged them out in a week's time so that she could get a nice retirement cottage on Maui.

As for the Movie. I'm already excited for it. Just watched the 2 trailers and am amazed. The actor playing Edward is Cedric Diggory from Harry Potter. I think its a very good choice for that character. I don't really have an opinion on who I imagine that part as played by.

Overall, I'm very pleased with this series and I am looking forward to all of it.
