new moon

Then, rather than asking people what happens next, why not finish the book?

Twilight is an entertaining series.  It's not a literary masterpiece but that doesn't stop it from being enjoyable.       I can't wait to see the movie.

To the people who love and adore Twilight I applaud you because you have exceptionnel taste in novels. To everyone who "cringes" every few pages well in my opinion you don't see the true beautie behind these magnificent books. It's more than just another highschool girl falling for a gorgeous boy, it's so much more than that I can't even put it in words. In ways it reminds of Romeo and Juliet because Bella and Edward should not be together, it's dangerous for them to love eachother but in the end they just want to be with one another. It's beautiful in ways I can't explain. Even if you can't see it happening you feel the way he looks at her, the way she loves him, how it's almost impossible for them to be apart.

For those who don't see the love and power in these novels then I truly feel sorry for you because you will never be able to experience the beautie, the love, the friendship written in these books. Yes, I know I do seem "obssesed", but for those who don't have that special someone, it really just gives us hope that one day we will find our Edward Cullen.

Dana, you clearly have never been in a romantic relationship.

Bella likes Edward because he is pretty.

Edward likes Bella because she smells good.

The two of them are flat characters devoid of any actual chemistry.

He stalks her and they basically become a parallel for a crappy high school "relationship," only with four times the abuse and dependency. It's not healthy, and anyone who thinks it is needs a good amount of therapy.

The books are entertaining as fluff, I'll give you that, but to say what you've just said paints you as a clueless ninny. I hope you figure out what real relationships are actually supposed to be like or Heaven help you, but you'll be abused.

Again: this is an objective fact. It's not a matter of opinion. The books are poorly written. The characters are flat and unrealistic. The books are fluff. That is why some people like them. People (usually teenage girls) who think that they are the BEST BOOKS EVAH are delusional and need to take a course in literature or at least pick up a copy of Tolkien.

Tolkien is wonderful, and I've only read LoTR. I got a couple of books for my birthday [simarillion [probably spelt wrong] and the children of hurn]. Now, I tried to read these books and as much as I love his writing I just couldn't. I was on holiday and if you don't take Tolkien in, then there's no point reading him. Maybe just because the new generation etc are into all this shitty pop culture etc, it's good that they have some dumbed down writing?

I've been considering reading the Twilight series. I'm yet to make my mind up.

I love books like that. One of my many vices.

I couldn't do the Silmarillion. It just...didn't go down for me, for no good reason.

The cover of Breaking Dawn makes me kind of sad because I know what it means.

Well hunn if you think because I like these books that I'll be in a abusive relationship than somethign has gone wrong. HELLO it's called a fantasie! Calling me a clueless ninny and that I need therapy just shows me that you have no imagination towards books, may I remind it is a book. Just stop, breath in and out and let out all your anger bc obviously you have alot of it. So what if I dream of a "perfect" guy, it's my dream .. don't ruin it for me. I'm not ashamed to say I lovee these books. And by the way I knwo what a real relationship is, but can't a girl have a little fun.

If you supposedly know what a real relationship is, why are you singing the praises of Edward and Bella? That has got to be the most unhealthy relationship on the face of the planet; if that's what you're dreaming of, you need a severe wake up call.
