I finally went over there.. I checked both computers.. Both are set to obtain Ip addresses automatically, but the problem still exists. Any other ideas as to what could be causing this problem and what steps can be taken to fix it? If more information is needed I can ask her/go over there again possibly.
did you check the router too????
yeah, i checked it. 1 is a dell desktop that's kinda old but still running xp. The other is a new dell notebook.
