I believe from the 'hint of sexual immorality' that it's a sin regardless of lust, but most people lust when they masturbate, so that makes it automatically a sin.

Why would God control our lives? If we cannot choose to sin, then we cannot choose to love and our love for him wouldn't be real.

He created us, to be in fellowship with him. He dosn't want us to be mindless robots the love and worship him, he wants us to have genuine love, and for that to happen we have to have a choice to love and a choice to sin.

God never says in the verse you quoted that masturbation is a sin...I don't know, are you trying to read between the lines and put words into the verse that aren't there? Be careful with that one...don't play God, please.

I'm not trying to read between the lines, I believe that masturbation is included in 'sexual immorality' and most defiantly included in a 'hint of sexual immortality.'

If the truth were known Jesus and all of his disciples masturbated.  The Pope does as do all the priests. Rabbis masturbate.  I assure you Jerry Falwell, Pat Robertson and Billy Graham has masturbated. It's a natural function but yet you have this guilt that has been instilled in you.

Feel guilt if you lie, cheat, steal, abuse or discriminate but don't feel guilt for something that is doing absolutely no harm to anyone.  Open you eyes and enjoy every stroke and your life will open up and change for the better.
