There are some instances when multiple answers apply or when I'd like to make a poll that multiple answers apply to. You'd still only get 1/4 point for voting of course, but I still think that the classic checkbox poll would be a great feature to add.

Not always. If I wanted to make a full, "What internet accounts do you have?" poll I would need a checkbox for an accurate poll.
