which computer is newer a dell inspiron 8000 laptop or a gateway desk top with a pentium 3 processor. don't know much about the gateway though. the dell has a pentium 3 as well. or if you don't know which would you prefer? i have 3 computers and i want all of them in my room. i need to decide which one htough

i am not getting a new one, they are old and i already own them. i can only have 2 computers in my room. i definatly am keeping my mac but i need to decide between the 2.
