I'm in my AS year atm studying
History / Computing / Sociology / Art I just took them really based upon what i was best at from last year (2 A*'s and an A) Then sociology i knew i'd be alright at.
Basically got 3 A's in my first AS module and im doing / done my last 2 module exams atm :)
So it should be good for A2 grade wise hoping for at least ABB if not AAB
I'd really like to do any of these 3 and could see myself doing a career in any of them and being happy :)
Just need some advice off people who've perhaps done these courses / know someone that has that could be able to advise me on like...
wether it'd be worth doing that gap year for maths or w/e! etc.
But yeah degree choices im really tempted by...
Photojournalism -
I'm really fascinated by photography and i've been doing skate photography for around a year on and off. I've always been interested in writing as an aspect of expression and although it doesn't involve its still on the same medium.
Computer Science -
Big issue here. I need A-level maths, my computing teacher and careers advisor told me i wouldn't and i took their word for it. So im pretty raged. I'm tempted to take a year out and do a-level maths / work part time but its a big year of my life really.
Economics -
I'm FASCINATED by economics for some reason and how it effects everything and anything in society and i'd love to do something related.
Now this also requires A-level maths but 3 of my 5 chosen / liked uni's will take you on good grades without a-level maths and you just do an extra 6 months side course to learn applied maths which is all well and dandy with me.
Urph. Haha.
