I pulled over and got out of the car....apprently the cat had run out of the house and into the street and the poor kid had run after it and saw it got hit from like a block away.

Traffic was stopped up quite a bit...so i got a blanket and lifted the cat off the street, because the girl was just standing there crying.  I gave her and the cat a ride back to her house.  I told her to take it to the vet, but honestly....the cat is probably dead by now.  It was pretty beat up, I dont think it stood a chance.

I don't know....it was really sad...actually watching that happen.  I'm upset now.
