How do you find out the key you have? I have access to all of my Microsoft Office 2007 applications, and if I could find my key I'd give it to you.

I have no idea. I don't get computers. =/

And no I don't have a CD or something like that and I'm too lazy to call the computer company. ... Plus, Like I said: I don't want to spend money, so that's why I'm asking here.

OpenOffice is so close to Microsoft 2003, I wonder why the big M hasn't pulled a lawsuit out of its arse yet.

Basically, just download OpenOffice.

You can't use somebody else's key unless its corporate. I recommend OpenOffice, its free and has all the programs that you need. Plus you can save your work as a .word or what ever your gonna use to open it at school or where ever you need it.

OK, being a computer major, and browsing the web, I thought that I might help you out....
Since you bought your laptop, it already should have come with a Microsoft Office package (it should have a fucking lot of disks- one per program). If you do not have these, then you need to go buy one in order to access the Microsoft Programs. If you don't want to do that, I'd highly reccommend calling the help-line number that should've come with your computer. Have your recipt ready and just talk it over with them. There isn't any need to get hysterical. What I wouldn't reccommend however, is getting a validation key online- most of them are phonies and once you put one in, sometimes it makes things more difficult later on. So, just call the help center- that should be fairly easy. If not, try calling the place that you've ordered it from or the manufacturer of your new laptop.
Hope it was helpful...
Walter

Somehow, I highly doubht you are a computer major
Hang on iJ, I'll have a look and I'll see what I can dig up

Try looking through here, I think it has what you're looking for, but I'm not certain:

It was probably a 30, 60 or 90 day trial that came installed on your laptop.

This is frequent with most major computer companies.

You need to buy the office suite.

I could have given you a lifetime key and registration method bypasses, but that'd require me to like you.

Enjoy opensourcing.
