Loss of appetite is really common with stress and/or depression. For some people, they start eating more as well. Personally, at one point, I went through a period where I would eat about one meal per day (which was just a few pieces of chicken), for about 1-2 weeks.
It's not good for you, and I'm glad that you're pushing yourself to eat. That shows that you really are conscious of your actions, and so you can keep your body healthy. A good diet can help you feel better too :).
In general though, if you're having trouble eating a lot, find smaller snacks to eat throughout the day. It's easier to eat a small bag of carrot sticks than to look at a full plate you know? So just choose smaller portion sizes, but eat more frequently. This way, you can make sure that you eat more.
Who knows, it may help :). But I'm sure you'll find that as your stress level decreases, your appetite will start coming back too :).
