Service is quite good. I'm on Pay As You Go and they give some free texts, each time you top up, which is handy. o2 Magic Numbers is pretty nifty, too. Although, I don't use it, yet.
Coverage is great.

I use ACS (Alaska Telecommunications Company). Offers great coverage through out Alaska as well as the rest of America. Reason being ACS is just a subsidiary of AT&T (previous it was publicly known as AT&T Alascom). Not too expensive either.

I have Sprint. It's alright. It's a lot better than what I used to have with Cingular (what AT&T used to be). Still, it's not fantastic, and the texting is shit.
