Civic Do you have a bike that you would suggest me buying? I'm really bad at building my own bike or anything else for that matter. I normally spend more money for stuff so that I don't have to waste my time building it.
Road bike hurt your back?

never ridden a road bike personally but i've heard they're uncomfortable. Here's my two.
2003 Rockadile AL, and a 1990's Trek 832, both mountain bikes.
I got the Rockadile as a birthday gift, and a few months before, I had found the black/yellow Trek in the trash.. guy was THROWING IT AWAY.
I took it home. Disassembled.. and waited til I had cash for parts. Well, the birthday bike, came stock.. $200, v-brakes.. etc. I stripped the frame down with nothing remaining but original forks, the Stem for the handlebar, threadless headset, and I believe that was all that remained.. everythign else was replaced (don't know exactly what at the moment, assorted shimano deore lx/xt parts, hayes hmx1 brakes, easton monkeybar, etc.
The parts that came stock on the mongoose went onto the trek, essentially I had two brand new bikes from one and some extra money. The Trek was purple/black when I found it, and I got the Trek vinyl decals on eBay. Both are hardtail frames, but when I ride the trek, the air is about 45 so it's a little of a cushion.. The Mongoose is at 55-60 when I ride. I used to ride EVERY day, but I got my liscense and I got lazy.
