well I was in Marching Band from middle school to High School..and yea I heard it all but I had a damn good time.I was on Danceline my senior year. it was fucking awesome! I played flute and piccolo in band. i was what you would call a "Hott Band Chick" cuz a couple of my friends and I were called that in high school. its fun. dont give a shit what other people think about you about what you do. If you wanna join then do it. high school is nothing once you graduate...everything that happens there is bullshit.

definitely. i also play flute and am trying to play piccolo. im on the colorguard and its gonna be my senior year. im afraid that i might suck, but ya just gotta go and do it. if you stay afraid, you wont ever do it, and then if you miss what could be your only chance, you might regret it. forever.

I've been in the marching band for all 4 years of high school and I have a very diverse group of friends in and out of band.  Just because you're in it doesn't mean it has to be the only thing your into, or limit your friends to other members.
