absinthe sounds like it has lots of potential to be fabulous. i've spent most of my afternoon reading about it and i'm pretty intrigued.

i was reading about it because i have this friend who knows how to get it and brought it to a party once and i didn't try it because i didn't know what it was butttt nowwwww iddkkkk might be fun?

anyway share your experiences/insight please

Wow that stuff is impossible to get in my area.  It's illegal in the U.S if you didn't know that..

But yeah you should try it!  I haven't personally but think it sounds amazing.  I know a website were you can buy wormwood and a complete absinthe kit.  Apparently it's not illegal to sell the ingredients.

Yeah, you can get ripped off with fake shit too.  But like you said, authentic absinthe is incredibly expensive.  Too much so to risk it being seized by US Customs.
