What do you think?  Don't say none of the above cuz Im debating this with a friend and these are the choices.

Cross country/track::  I dont know about you, but that seems like a shit load of running to me.  I mean...I do 3 miles about 2-3/wk, but I couldnt run that much.

Soccer::  Again, that is a BIG ass field and I always see them running around and stuff.

Swimming::  (MY PICK)  Most serious teams have about 11 practices a week, with about 4 hours a day....averaging about 7000 yds a practice (5ish miles).  If you know anything about how far that is.....its a lot.

Wrestling:: The whole weight control thing would kill me physically and mentally.

Gymnastics:: Weight control again, and it is so hard on your joints and bones and stuff.  It totally messes up your body.

Depends what you mean by hard.

Physically demanding? Takes the most expertise?

What's hard for one comes naturally to another.

Gymnastics. I feel it's intense on every level.

But then again, it's muchhh easier for some than others.

Swimming.

I have quite a few friends that swim, two of which that hold state records, and its a serious sport.

They are always at practice, and when they arent, they are way to exhausted to ever do anything.

Gymnastics by far.

Reasons:

Tears.

Conditioning.

Parallel Bars. (I hate those things)

Climbing ropes....multiple times.

Tears. (Did I mention these things hurt and bleed?)

Callouses. (Getting them is painful)

Tumbling. (Enough said)

Flexibility.

Gymnastics namely due to the physically demanding exercises and events they appear to make seamless.
