Ok, there could be a few things causing this. You DO NOT have to get a new computer. First try uninstalling your current browser, and try to get rid of any settings relating to it (make sure install folder is deleted). Then download a fresh installer (I recommend using Firefox or Opera if you are not already), and install as you normally would. Then try downloading a fresh installer for Flash and install that. Try using it.
If it still does not work get a tool called CCleaner and run both the standard cleaner and the Registry cleaner.
If it still does not work switch to a different browser, I of course recommend Firefox (or anything based on Mozilla engine) or Opera. If you want you can try Internet Explorer or Safari.
If it still does not work try a system restore.
If it still does not work reinstall the OS (Windows I am guessing?) (Formats hard drive, back-up all needed files).
