My computer is a 700 series hp.
(a720n)
and it's slow as hell.
Is it because I have too much on it?
I deleted ALL of my music (abouyt 50 gb worth!) and it's still slow!
What will help?

Try defragmenting your harddrive, it should be under accessories or system tools.

virtual memory is found in the system properties dialog box under the advanced tab ( control panel > system> advanced > virtual memory. but it is only necessary to do this if you have a low disk space,if you have enough disk space sometimes increasing this can help free up ram.
it sometimes does help to run disk cleanup which is in start> all programs> accessories> system tools > disk cleanup and select all the options that apply also defragmenting your drive sometimes does help. so try that which is in the same place as disk cleanup. Also sometimes you can get rid of some of those subtle little things that are made to make windows look better, but sometimes suck up your system resources in control panel> system> advanced> performance and un-tick some of these options you think are unnecessary. also in the system properties dialog box under the advanced tab under processor scheduling and memory usage click the option that you think best fits you. If none of this works maybe you should consider getting some more RAM, which shouldn't be too expensive if your computer is from 2004. Hope this helps, any other problems just PM me

Despite what alot of people think, hard drive space has very little to do with the speed of your PC.

You need to buy more RAM, get a new processor, or (for gaming) get a new graphics card. Those are the things you will actually see a difference in performance with.
