Only pussies use anti-virus stuff. Real men just don't get viruses in the first place.

I would pick Trend Micro (PCC), Kaspersky, or F-Secure over the rest. Can't say about Nod32.

AVG and Avast are both excellent programs.  And they're both free.  I've used Avast for a few years with no problems.  It's even caught viruses that other programs have missed.

Geek Squad isn't necessarily the best source of information.  My  family and I have had nothing but bad luck with them.  A couple friends of mine have had trend-micro, and it simply didn't work.  They still got computer viruses.

The one time I had to go to Geek Squad, I knew more about my computer's problem than anyone there behind the desk.  I only got stuck letting them tinker with it because I still had a warranty on the laptop.

According to personal experience and Top Ten Reviews, Bit Defender is the best anti virus software out there.
Kaspersky is okay too, but it is not user friendly, seriously, if you make a mistake it could shut your internet off. And when it detects a threat it goes in a lock down where you cannot access the internet period.
