ok so i have my desktop, i turned it on this morning and it didnt even run a bios. it just showed me the first screen it always does when it boots up and it froze there. any ideas of what this might be? it was working fine last night with no errors

The first screen... could you be more specific please? What BIOS should it be running?

The first screen for my computers has consistently been the one for the graphics card. Perhaps you should try removing or replacing it.
