So, yesterday, my 'friend' Claire wasn't in for english class which was a good in a way, because it meant that I could spend the lunch break with another friend of mine called Amy, who I get on a lot better with. Claire and I used to get on, but now she's changed, and there are certain aspects of her personality which I don't like. Especially the way she's dealt with situations, and how she's acting hypocritical at the moment by saying she dislikes someone, then being all pally with them. Therefore, I've decided that I want to spend my lunch times with Amy from now on. She hangs around by herself, and so I could always say something to Claire like: 'Amy looks really lonely, I think she needs company'. Hopefully Claire wouldn't get the wrong idea, and think that I meant for us all to hang out together.
I know it sounds cruel to just want to dump Claire like so, but I hate pussyfooting around the truth, and pretending that she's a good friend, when all she ever does is lie about who she likes/dislikes.
How am I supposed to know where I even stand with her?
