What do I tell my dad to get the point across to him that we don't need it. He's complaining that our laptop's too slow, and he's sorta started doing it after he installed it on our laptop. He feels it's better than AVG or Norton Antivirus as it worked fine back in '06 when we had AOL. The problem is, I was a little more careful on what I downloaded.
McAfee Virusscan Plus takes up a large piece of our RAM (We only have 297 MB of RAM on this laptop) And I tell him to uninstall it, and try AVG/Norton AV once more, but he doesn't want to, as he thinks we won't be protected from viruses and attackers and such.
Truth is, he isn't too smart with computers.
