Right, I am starting to use tampons, and the first time I put one in, it went in sort of ok, a little resistance but ok. But today I put a new one in, and it wasn't going in, I was doing everything the leeflet in the box said, but it still didn't go in properly. In the end I did it, but now it's hurting like hell. I can hardly sit down. OW. What do I do?

Take it out. You might have put it in at a wrong angle. It happens a lot don't worry. Just take it out and try again.

Were you in the same position as the first time? Also, if you are tense, its more likely going to cause discomfort.
