I just discovered this very recently. It's a great tool! The reason that this is preferable to a reformat, as you may gather from shadowpool's response, is that this tool overwrites your hdd's data with a bunch of cryptic stuff. Windows recovery disk. As you boot up pc you'll see black screens with white text, look for a something like "Press any key to boot from disk" then it'll open up a reformat window. Its really really easy to follow tbh.
