I hate manners because it's pure hypocrism, ans lying. For example according to ettiquette, if someone asks you how are you? You're supposed to say good no matter how you really feel. Even if you feel like hell inside. And if you say bad you have to explain why, but if you say good, then you don't have to explain anything. It's such a stupid thing. You can't say what you really feel, so manners is just another word for lying.

but manners is also polite?

you don't HAVE to say you're good. most people choose to because it's better than having to explain.

you don't have to have manners if you don't want, but they're there as a social guideline so you don't get your face punched in because you pissed off the wrong person or whatever.
