Hey guys, I'm in need of finding some nice places to check out while in Myrtle Beach this fall with my boyfriend and his parents.

So if you have any ideas, please share (along whether it costs money or not, and if so, approx. how much).

Some help with what kinds of things we'd like to get into. We're not really looking for clubs or getting into dancing, somewhat cheap (but that doesn't really matter since it's MB), and we like art.

His parents asked me for a small list of places and so far I have;

-Ripley's (museum, theater, and the aquarium)
-Franklin G. Burrough's Art Musuem
-Imax 3D
-MagiQuest (looked interesting...)
-Medieval Times restaurant
-Dick's Last Resort restaurant

Comments and opinions are welcomed (as long as they pertain to this topic), as I could really use some help with this. I personally have never been to Myrtle Beach before.

My school went on a trip to Myrtle Beach and my friends really liked the Medieval Times Restaurant. I didn't go, so I'm taking their word for it.

I could have easily done that, which I have already. That's why I have the list above. I want people's real opinions... so that didn't help whatsoever.

Make sure you go to the Ripleys Aquarium, its great.
Also, Hard Rock Cafe has great food.
MagiQuest is pretty nerdy, but you might like it.
Imax is fucking amazing, holy fuck.

Ok... question about the MagiQuest thing;

Do you think we would like it? What is it like?

I already viewed some youtube vids, but it really doesn't help that much. Just thought this bit of info helps as well... I'm a graphic design major and he's a gaming major. So we're slightly on the nerdy side of such things, lol.

Oh! Another question as well...
Is the Ripley's "Odditorium" one building with the haunted house thing and arcade? Or are there literally 4 complexes (we already know the aquarium is a few blocks away)?

Two places you MUST go are Broadway on the Beach and Barefoot Landing.
They have a TON of stuff for everyone.

We are planning on stopping at Broadway on the Beach (seems to have a lot of cool things).

What is Barefoot Landing and what does it have to offer?

Barefoot Landing is like the sister to Broadway on the Beach. One of them has the Save the Tiger foundation, where they have tigers and other animals to take pictures with. Price is pretty steep, but it's fun.
They have similar shops, but a lot of them are different.

HMmm... interesting. Might have to put that on the list as well.

Anything else interesting about Barefoot Landing (other than the tiger foundation)?

Or maybe even other ideas of things or places to check out while I'm there?
