well i see the point of havng it
because they have been treated badly and people should learn from the past mistakes

but
i do think they should learn abut native american and mexicans ect
which in the uk we do

Black history month is perhaps no longer essential as African culture is easy to find and learn about if you wish to where a time ago it wasn't however it is of course vital to learn about the slave trade as it is any other significant historical events.
